The challenge
The Bank of England is redesigning the way in which they manage data across the entire organisation. Their Data Programme team – made up of colleagues from across the bank – had hit a number of obstacles, which was unsurprising given the complexity of the challenge.
The programme
We deployed our Network Analysis tool to better understand the challenges across teams and functions. The findings helped identify and convene a group of cross-functional and cross-hierarchical influencers to make progress on critical challenges.
We worked with the influencers to design an off-site that tackled interpersonal barriers around trust and safety, whilst progressing the more task-related issues (around clarity and execution). We designed the day around our Adaptive Coaching methodology, which quickly builds trust and a shared understanding of the challenges that the group needs to tackle. From here we used Agile tools, enabling the teams to get traction and make progress on key priorities.
CoCreate helped me work through the issues we were having with a programme that was seeking to make big changes across our organisation. Thanks to your work, we were able to energise people, break down perceived barriers and spark new relationships and ideas within the project that are delivering a lasting impact on the way we work.
