The challenge

The Forward Institute was set up by a coalition of major organisations to help our next generation of leaders meet the demands facing business and society in the 21st century. Their flagship initiative is the Fellowship Leadership Programme, which has a particular focus on exploring the challenges and practices of responsible leadership.

The programme

Given the focus on challenging leaders to think, act and even live differently, CoCreate was a natural choice for the Forward Institute to embed a coaching culture into the day-to-day practice of the organisation.

Bringing together the staff team, CoCreate led participants through a workshop that developed both a coaching skillset and mindset. We explored the practical application of these skills into the day-to-day work of the Forward Institute as they help leaders bring about substantive change in their organisations, leaving attendees fired up for working differently.

Andy is one of the best, if not the best, facilitators I have ever worked with. He does all the things that great facilitators do: listens acutely, asks terrific, unpredictable and insightful questions, and provides a safe environment. But he works with a level of creativity that is rare. With great skill he turns what could be just a work exercise into an unforgettable life experience.
